The measuring car is designed for measuring catenary parameters up to the speed of 160 km.h-1. The system acquires, in any climatic conditions, many data, which are then processed on board and in the office in order to identify the state of the pantograph and the overhead line. 
It carries out operational measurements in the entire Czech railway electrified network, executing the following kinds of measurements
